This One’s For Jesus

The EYC finished the 2010/2011 year with 15 campers going to All Saints Camp at Lake Texoma for an awesome camping trip.

They combined their theme for the year in one weekend by:

• FUN: Camping, hiking, games, good food
• FAITH: Enjoying Evening Prayer led by the girls and Morning Prayer led by the boys.
• SERVICE PROJECT: The camp allowed us to camp free by doing a community service. We pulled a brush pile, piece by piece to an open area and started a bon fire that went at least 30 ft. high. It took over 2 hours as we threw each piece of brush and wood into the fire we yelled out different sins of the world to burn away. Not one sin was left behind. It was a brutally awesome service project!
