Hear Ye, Hear Ye

Boar's Head Festival - Holy Nativity Church - Plano TXThe 9th annual Boar’s Head Festival will be celebrated on the 7th and 8th days of January, year of our Lord, 2012 at 5PM each evening.

This is a fun evening of Olde English merriment combining the secular celebrations of the Yule Log and Boar Hunting with the religious elements of Jesus’ birth and the coming of the Wise Men in Epiphany. A costumed procession, music, entertainment and banquet provide people of all ages an evening to remember.

This parish-wide event sponsored by the Choir and the EYC and benefiting the Organ Fund, could use your help and participation. Sign-up sheets will soon be available on the bulletin board. If you are interested in performing or stage assistance, please contact Cat Tryon or Kevin Redmond by November 20.

The performances are free and open to the public. Tickets for the Feast should be purchased or reserved early to ensure seating. Tickets will be on sale Sundays, December 11 and 18 and in the office weekdays through December 30. Adults – $10, Children 10 & under – $5, 3 and under – free. Maximum cost per family is $35.
