Holy Nativity Church believes in the traditional Christian Faith as given by the Apostles by Jesus Christ. We accept the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as authoritative, that is: “containing all things necessary to salvation”, and as being the rule and ultimate standard of our doctrine, faith and behavior.
- We are a Eucharistic and sacramental church and as such offer the two primary Sacraments ordained by Christ Himself – Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Eucharist). The Eucharist is ministered each week with use of Christ’s words of Institution.
- We also acknowledge the importance in daily church and family life of the sacramental rites of Holy Matrimony, Reconciliation of a Penitent, Healing, Unction, Confirmation and Ordination.
- We believe that all material possessions and financial assets belong to God and we recognize that we are stewards for God of all that we are and all that we have. We also affirm that the Bible teaches the tithe as the standard of giving of our treasure. We work towards that level of giving back to God as a sign of our trust in Him.
- We believe that salvation is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone and we affirm Jesus’ words that He is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life”. (John 14:6)
